His love for art and wood creation developed at an early age through the teachings of his father, an accomplished artist in his own right. Having learned to appreciate the value of color, texture and originality, he soon combined these three principles with his passion for wood working and folk art. Having a clear idea of what he wanted to create, one thought remained constant. Each creation had to be one of a kind…traits that could only be accomplished through the help of nature. Through the years, the most common question asked of Bill is "How long will you create these?" With a smile, his response is always the same:
"Until the forest says no."
